Winter Carnival

For over 50 years, the city of Québec has been celebrating the winter season with an outdoor festival that explodes with fun and revelry from late January to mid-February. Some of the festival's many activities are dogsled races through the streets of Québec, ice fishing, life-size foosball games (hilarious to watch as well as participate in), fireworks, snow rafting, sleigh and snowmobile rides, and Mr. Christie's village — located on the Plains of Abraham and dedicated to children's activities. For complete program information, phone (866) 422-7628. Online at www.carnaval.qc.ca.
